The full process takes about 30 minutes -- 10 minutes of temperature acclimation plus the scan. Dr. Erb reviews your results and explains the findings in detail.
Can thermography screen for breast health issues?
Thermography can detect thermal patterns associated with inflammation and dysfunction in breast tissue. It is not a replacement for mammography, but provides complementary functional data. Any abnormal findings are referred to the appropriate specialist.
